What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. They let a site remember things between pages and visits — and they let site owners see how the site is being used.
The banner
When you first visit this website you are asked which cookies you accept.
Analytics and advertising cookies are not set until you accept them. If you close the banner without accepting, or choose only some categories, the rest are not loaded at all — they are not set and then ignored. You can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link on the site.
What is set before you choose
Only a small number of cookies, and only ones the site needs to work:
- A session cookie, so the site can keep track of your visit
- Your cookie choice itself, so we do not ask again on every page
- A cookie that remembers the state of the WhatsApp enquiry button
- A shopping-basket reference We also use a cookie from Brevo, the service that runs our email list, which is set when you arrive. If you would rather it was not, you can block it in your browser using the instructions below.
What is set only after you accept
Analytics — Google Analytics (G-8TSSBGD5VM). Tells us which products and pages people look at, so we know what to stock and what to write about. It is about patterns across all visitors, not about you personally.
Advertising — Google Ads (AW-17220329596) and Google Tag Manager (GTM-M4Q3956N). Lets us show our appliances to people who have visited the site before, and tells us whether our adverts are working.
Attribution — how you found us. The page or advert that brought you here, and your browser type, so we can tell which of our efforts are worth continuing. This also covers the cookies WooCommerce uses to record where an order came from.
That is the complete list. We do not run a Facebook pixel, a TikTok pixel or any other social media tracker on this website.
Cookies and buying from us
There is no online checkout on this website — orders are placed by phone, WhatsApp or in the shop — so no cookie on this site ever handles a payment. Nothing here connects to M-Pesa or to any card processor.

In your browser: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Look for “Privacy” or “Cookies”. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working.
